Hey, my name is Lauren

I’m a photographer based in San Francisco, with a love for real moments, natural light, and the quiet magic in between poses.

I started off my professional career as a plant scientist, yes, you read that right, researching pollen and managing vegetable breeding trials. Then in 2025, I moved to San Francisco for love -- I know I know, so cute and romantic. However, there isn't much agriculture in the city, so I had to do a bit of a career change. I had been coding a bit at my last job, so I was lucky to be able to transition to become a full time app developer. But as cliche as it sounds, my passion and drive is photography. There is quite literally nothing more fun to me than freezing a moment in time, and sharing those with others.

I’m drawn to capturing timeless cinematic images, unique perspectives, and initiating emotion. I love capturing everything from that "vogue magazine look" to the laugh that sneaks out when no one’s trying, the calm before a big moment, to the way light falls when you least expect it.



Photography, for me, is about connection and moments. I want your photos to feel like memories you can step back into. Whether we’re shooting portraits, candids, couples, families, or something a little more creative, I approach every shoot with intention and an eye for storytelling. And whatever that is,  you will always find me doing it with the biggest smile on my face.
